A group of four RAF Typhoosn from RAF Coningsby (Sqn?) visited RAF Leeming to visit 100Sqn Hawks, before departing north on exercise. One of the roles of the RAF Typhoon aircraft is to protect our national airspace by securing our skies. To do this they maintain a constant Quick Reaction Alert (QRA) force 24/7. The RAF's Typhoons are also providing support to NATO by carrying out the Baltic Air Policing role. Image Sgt Laura Bullas. 7th Apr 2015.
